My Name is Felicia Magagula, I am 20 years old and a student at the University of the Witwatersrand, however I am originally from Emanzana (Badplaas), in Mpumalanga. In the 2024 academic year , I am due to begin my second year in a Bachelor of arts degree majoring in psychology. I've always dreamed to one day pursue my studies and working in the immense field of psychology , this being because of my deep desire to contribute to the overall well-being of individuals in different aspects of communities. I believe that there is so much contribution I could one day have in the mental health world by fostering mental health awareness. I think different people can one way or another speak of how mental health has affect them or a loved one in their lives. I am writing this to formally request your consideration for donations in support of my academic endeavours to which I believe I am worth the investment. In the year 2023, one of my main goals was to achieve an average of over 65%, to which I have successfully accomplished by far and accumulated an average of over 75%, showing my dedication to the field . However, hardships such as my funding currently defer me from my 2024 academic year as I am expected to pay at least 50% of my outstanding fees (R63 800) in order to register. I would appreciate your support in all ways as my family is not at the moment financially stable enough to make financial ends meet to pay off my outstanding fees, I believe that I am a hard worker and that I have the ability and endurance to achieve way more in my 2024 academic year with your help. Your contribution will not only help me pursue my studies but will empower me to contribute meaningfully to mental health awareness.
