Greetings friends and family.
This fundraising effort is to aid my Grade 11 son, Ethan Sedras, who has been selected by the Africa Genesis Archery association, to represent South Africa in the forth-coming World Archery competition to be held in Namibia in August 2024. Ethan's selection follows several Gold medal performances and ultimately receiving the Best Male Archer award 2023 in the High School category.
The funding is to cover return air-travel, hostel accommodation, meals and related road transport from and to the airport in Namibia.
As part of his emotional, spiritual and personal growth, this sporting code has allowed Ethan to become more integrated into his social fabric and this opportunity presents him with an opportunity to become more of a responsible, respecting and engaging individual within this team sport with members of both genders and of other countries.
