Personal message
I grew up in a poor African setting. I am grateful and lucky I ended up being a medical doctor but many of my bright agemates failed to finish school because of lack of financial support. I wish I could go back in time to support them. However, riding the Cape Town Cycle Tour backing the Salesian Life Choices team to raise funds for young people from the low income communities of Cape Flats to register for their studies at University enables me to fulfil my wish to help make a difference.
