Vmrs is a free medical advice group that is available to anybody in and around South Africa with qualified retired medical doctors. This group is run by Dr. Nick, who is based in Durban and offers free medical advice and assistance to those who cannot afford a doctor, lack access to a clinic or hospital in their area, or simply need medical advice.
Dr. Nick saved my granny's life a while back as she was very sick. He arranged all the required medication that she needed without leaving the house and also brought down her sugar levels as she is diabetic as well.
The free medical group is solely run by donations but does not receive enough contributions to keep the group going. They require some items to be replaced, which were damaged in last year's Durban floods and the continuous load-shedding that we are experiencing.
The staff that offer their time to give or assist with medical advice are in desperate need of transportation as they currently don't have transport and need to make use of an Uber. Because of this, the staff cannot get to their medical emergencies in time as they have to wait for an Uber, which they sometimes cannot get due to there not being an Uber available in the area.
Waiting for an ambulance is just not an option in South Africa, especially in Durban, as you are just another number in the queue waiting to be transported to a nearby hospital.
Please can you find it in your hearts to open up your wallets and donate to this good cause, so that we can get the staff the necessary equipment they need and the transportation they require to save more lives.

Voluntary Medical Response Services Campaign

Vmrs, a free medical advice group in South Africa led by Dr. Nick, faces challenges due to equipment damage from floods and ongoing power outages. Staff, reliant on Uber for transportation, experience delays in responding to emergencies. Your donation can sustain this vital service, replacing equipment and providing reliable transportation. Support now to save lives.
