Digital Skills Africa is a non-profit company (NPC) established to reignite hope and address socio economic transformation through digital empowerment. 

Our key mandate is to empower all disadvantaged people with career possibilities through digital skills aligned to digital transformation. We partner with global industry leading technology companies to bring world class, accredited and certified digital training content to local communities. 

We align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to transform Africa as well as contribute to the South African NDP 2030. 

Our Goals Include: 

• Playing an active role in reducing unemployment. 
• Empowering all people with career possibilities. 
• Bringing best-in-class, global technology standards. 
• Educating for today and tomorrow. 
• Reskill and upskill for jobs of the future. 
• Providing critical digital skills.

 

We do this by building Fully Equipped Digital labs in marginalised communities across Africa and providing all communities with free access to the infrastructure and the Cisco Networking Academy.

 

The intention is for people of all backgrounds to have access to completing a industry certification through the Cisco Networking Academy at no cost and then being connected to available employment opportunities through the Talent Bridge Program. This connects skills to jobs within the Cisco Partner Ecosystem and plays a role in growing emerging communities.
