Good day to anyone reading this today.
Proud mommy of three beautiful kids. (18, 17 & 7 years of age)
Because they are so special to myself and we as mothers would do anything for them, I came here for assistance.
My eldest child, my daughter’s name is Denise. She is currently in her matric year.
We recently discovered, after week of her being in so much pain that her teeth not only was the cause of pain, but it influences her sinuses and so many other aspects.
Due to her teeth firstly not being in line and growing out totally wrong from childhood, she is currently struggling with a problem where her K9’s never came out form her gums and are still stuck in there with one turning horizontally. In the place where the K9’s should be, she still has baby teeth. To add tot this all she has a very small jaw along with her wisdoms pushing from the back.
We went for dentist to orthodontic and received a final report on her teeth. We are blessed to be with Dr Nell, orthodontic, who has been recommended and a great orthodontic. He has set up a plan to work in her mouth and not only assist to get all het teeth straight and in the correct places but to relieve the pain she is. He has given a set out on exactly what they will do which includes trying to “safe” the K8 that went horizontally.
It will be a lengthy process, but I have total confidence in him and his team.
As a mom and single mom, one first listens to all the options and risk and everything. This procedure is very much needed. For once to get her out of pain, specially in her Matric year and secondly with matric farewell coming on, to try and give her a bit of her confidence back in her appearance.
She is a bright young lady with passion for the future and stars she is planning (and I know she will) to reach. She has always been very shy on her appearance, specially when it comes to smiling and things like that. Her teeth are well looked after, they are just not in all in the correct positions and some not close to straight. We all know and feel that a smile is a person’s signature and means so much.
We must get this started and push through with the whole process.
As everyone know there are costs attached. I do have a medical aid, but as a lot of people know they do not covert the full amount and they are not mommies understanding that is extremely necessary right now to happen. The medical aid covers the deposit, which in its own is already one huge blessing as the process can then start. Just on my own salary I can not make it all happen by myself.
I am attaching only the Xray photos which show the seriousness of what we are dealing with, for anyone to see, but I am not attaching the other photos, for my daughter and as this is a very sensitive subject to her. I do not want to throw her out for the public and have her feel embarrassed, but I will share them with you in private, should you feel you’d like to see the severity of the situation we are facing. But to protect my daughter, I am doing it like this and I am certain that anyone else out there could agree with me.
All funds will directly be paid into the orthodontics account and will be monitored closely. Anything donated more than what we need, I will ask them to use for some of the other single mothers like me in the same circumstances with fund needed to assist their kids in any urgent matters. They do know of a few cases already.
Thank you for your time for reading and thank you in advance for your donation.
