In March, my beloved spouse, Deidre, received the devastating news of a recurrence of breast cancer. Since then, our lives have been a tumultuous journey filled with hospital visits and the overwhelming weight of medical expenses. Deidre, who has already battled so bravely, is now contending with the shadows of depression, and the burden of financial strain is taking its toll on both of us.

Despite her valiant efforts, our financial resources are stretched thin, as medical coverage falls short of the substantial bills that continue to accumulate. Deidre, the pillar of our household and our sole breadwinner, has been unable to work since her diagnosis, and her projected return to work is deferred until the end of June next year. In an attempt to bridge the financial gap, I've taken on private transport jobs, but our vehicle has recently broken down, leaving us without the means to generate additional income.

The absence of both extra income and reliable transportation has placed us in a dire situation. We find ourselves at a crossroads, grappling with the mounting pressures that threaten to overshadow Deidre's focus on healing.
