I will be participating in the 2016 Cape Town Cyle Tour (109km) to raise money for the Red Cross Childrens Hospital.

The Red Cross Children's Hospital has always been a cause close to my heart. I suffered from Asthma as a kid and spent many a day there after having attacks or for regular checkups.

All funds raised will go towards the expansion of the paediatrics intensive care unit (PICU) which will serve those in need of these critical services.

My minimum donation target required is R2,000/AUD$205/GBP98/US$150 but feel we can strive for much more, hence I'll start the pedals turning by donating R2,000 on behalf of Alexa & Hayden.

I will appreciate any support wheather it be a small or big donation or a word of motivation or a beer when I have completed.

The Children's Hospital Trust

A hospital dedicated entirely to children – especially children predominantly from impoverished communities throughout Africa – is critically important. So important, that it needs a champion to make sure that it’s able to keep doing the phenomenal work it does.

That champion is the Children’s Hospital Trust.
