Personal message

My name is Darren Webb and I am riding the 94.7 Cycle Challenge in aid of The Recovery Foundation.

I'm a recovering addict of few words and show what I do through my actions so here is a brief rundown on what I'm up too.

One of the biggest reasons that I'm over 3 years clean and sober is because of my fitness. I have a passion for endurance running; I have finished 2 Comrades Marathons so far. I also enjoy triathlons, CrossFit and cycling.

I was fortunate to go to a long term treatment centre with the help of my parents. I know that the majority of addicts can't afford to go to treatment centres. So wherever I can I will try and raise money for those who can't afford it.

So let's all pull together and raise money for the addicts still in active addiction. Every cent counts.
