Personal message
I'm riding the 94.7 cycle challenge 2015 as part of a team raising funds for a much deserving charity in Midrand.
Botshabelo is a charity that changes many lives through charity work and education through their baby home and Urban Kids. They are a group of passionate people making a real difference.
Botshabelo also has Public Benefit Organisation status which allows individuals and companies to receive a tax rebate for any donations given to Botshabelo.

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.
There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:
- Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
- UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
- Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
- Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
