Swimmer needs help

My son of 17 years old has a chance to possibly swim for Guateng open water in J-bay in March. Unfortunately we his parents can not afford this so we are asking for some help so we can get him there when the notification comes through Middle of Feb. As well as also swimming in the Midmar Mile beginning of Feb.
Please can we ask someone to assist us...... we would greatly appreciate it.....
These are magnificent opportunities for him to have in his CV for his future studies.
The funds raised will be used to pay his accommodation and flights to get him there
