Personal message

“I am a Mother, Wife and Runner. I began running as a way to cope with an abusive background and I have been blessed enough to have completed consecutive Comrades Marathons. I would like to use my 2019 run as a platform to highlight a worthy cause. 

Childhood cancer is a scary reality for a number of South African households and as a mother to a healthy 7 year old , I cannot imagine anything worse than having to watch him suffer through a potentially life threatening illness. 

I hope and pray that through my 2019 Comrades journey I can in some small way contribute to the enormous difference that Rainbow and Smiles makes to this cause.”
