Dear Friends

It is with great excitement that I am reaching out to you for consideration to assist me in my calling.

In 1998 Jesus radically called and saved me, and I have felt a calling to serve in ministry since. I have served for several years in ministry throughout my Christian journey. 4 years ago, I became convicted through my own study and desire to preach the Word of God. I did some research, spoke to various wise pastors, and realised that I needed to do an undergraduate course here in SA to be able to qualify to do a master’s degree at the university of choice, The Master's Seminary in Los Angeles. I then enrolled at SATS - South African Theological Seminary to do the Higher Certificate in Christian Life and have almost completed to obtain the 30 credits required. With much encouragement from my pastor, family, and friends, I applied at The Master's Seminary (TMS - led by Dr John MacArthur) in Los Angeles, California to undertake a degree in pastoral ministry. Why LA? Because it is the most prestigious and complete pastoral ministry training seminary in the world. My application to attend TMS was approved, against the odds, on 31 January 2024 to start the academic year in August 2024. My desire is to be thoroughly trained and equipped to pastor a church and in so doing, be a part of real change that is effected through the faithful preaching of the gospel.

Due to the Rand/Dollar exchange rate, the cost of living in the USA, and the cost to get all documentation, visas, flights, and any other requirements needed, we still need financial assistance to raise R200 000 (two hundred thousand Rand) which is approximately US$10 000. I will be allowed to work a certain number of hours which will assist with living expenses, and I will apply for scholarships available, but these fore-mentioned costs remain elusive.

We are appealing to those who understand the blessing that comes with responding to the high calling of God for the service of ministry as I, my wife and daughter leave everything behind to embark on this journey to a foreign country. Every contribution will be treasured no matter the amount
