A rhino’s horn should only matter to a rhino. On the 18th of July 2020 I climbed the Matterhorn (4,478m) in Switzerland to raise awareness and donations for The Rhino Orphanage in South Africa which is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of rhino calves orphaned from poaching.

The Rhino Orphanage is a registered non-profit company and was founded by Arrie van Deventer in 2012. The orphanage is the first specialist, dedicated, non-commercial centre that cares for orphaned and injured baby rhinos with the only aim of releasing them back into the wild.
