Hi.  We are brothers Clay and Trav Turrell. 

We are passionate about Surfing and anything ocean related.  We love what we do, and we feel so blessed and grateful for our health and all the opportunities, which we have been granted. 

Together, we have a fairly large following on social media, and we would like to use this as a way to help those who are less fortunate than us.  It is our goal to leave a legacy behind and spreading kindness wherever we go.

Our Charity of choice is Rainbows and Smiles Childhood cancer Foundation, whom we have supported since 2019.  Our goal is to raise R100 000.00 for Rainbows and Smiles.  We are aiming at getting ten thousand people to donate R10.  It is a small amount that most people can afford. 

Should you be unable to assist financially, there are so many other ways to show your support, by sharing posts and raising awareness.

Be a hero, help out a little buddy and become an ambassador for Rainbows and Smiles.

Rainbows and Smiles provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with cancer.

In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer awareness to educate in the hope of promoting early detection. Their principles include creating hope, smiles and relief for families and caregivers of children with cancer.

Most people are not aware that when cancer attacks a child, it affects the entire family. Once cancer barges through the door, it is not long before a hard-working family start to feel the financial burden. Many parents must make the difficult choice of one parent to resign from their job to stay home to care for their child. Some single headed households have no choice but to leave their child in the care of the nurses and doctors and return to work. These decisions are not taken lightly.

The organisation was founded by a mother, Bonni Suckling, whose only son, Jed, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. This is her way of paying it forward and fulfilling a promise to Jed to take care of all his friends who have cancer!

Your assistance mean so much to us, but it would mean even more to these children and their families fighting cancer.
