Personal message
I am riding the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge for Botshabelo in November this year because I have a passion for kids - their health, their education and attitude to life.
Botshabelo have cared for over 150 children since year 2000, giving each child the love they deserve, the provisions and hope for a future by working hard to ensure that these children are adopted into loving forever families.
All the funds and awareness raised through the ride will benefit the children of today and tomorrow. (http://www.botshabelo.co.za/)

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.
There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:
- Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
- UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
- Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
- Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
