Hi everyone, my name is Chris, I never thought I'd need to ask for help, but my beloved grandmother, Ria aged 85 passed away 2 days ago and the funeral is set for this Sunday
She was the most beautiful women, loving, caring and truly the most inspiring women. I loved her as much as I love my own. She was there for me through thick and thin.
About 2 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she really fought hard, she went for chemo therapy and things started going better but about 3 weeks ago her body just started giving in.
She was admitted to hospital and our medical aid was quickly dried up. No matter what, I tried to pay for her medical costs myself but they couldn't do anything else for her. It's been difficult the past few days, the funeral costs are really high and I'm struggling to keep my head above water and pay for everything.
She deserved the world and it feels as if I'm letting her down. She did so much for me and yet here I am begging and asking for help just to give her a funeral that she deserves.
I truly will appreciate anything, anyone is willing to offer. Even if it just $1, every bit helps. The total cost is. R20000 south african Rand or in USD roughly $1500.
Anything will help, really.
