Chris Goldie, fondly known as the Mom of Mom's Cafe, and my wife, has dedicated twenty-three years to running the cafe on Devon Valley Road, Stellenbosch. Her customers appreciate her honest and personal approach, and many adults today learned basic math through the sale of loose sweets at Mom's Cafe during their childhood.

Recently, our Mom received a diagnosis of cataracts in both eyes. Despite wearing glasses, her near and far vision has been affected. Given our basic hospital plan, the expenses associated with consulting a specialist for her cataract condition are currently beyond our means.

I am reaching out with the hope that the funds raised through this plea will provide Chris the opportunity to address her cataracts and restore her vision. Your support is greatly appreciated.
