I would like to raise money for the Nedbank Tour de Tuli – Mapungubwe Route 2013! Where all proceeds will be going to the Children in the Wilderness foundation

For the ninth year, several hundred riders will put helmets to heads, feet to pedals and bums to saddles in the annual Tour de Tuli event, that is not a race but an adventure ride. I know that this one of the highlights in my life...riding approximately 300km in Africa on a mountain bike will leave a lasting impression. It’s a mountain bike experience filled with the most spectacular scenery and interaction with fellow riders and local villagers. It is a journey that is the most exhilarating  and rewarding way to experience the bush and to view game – all this for a good cause.

Children in the Wilderness is a life-skills and environmental educational programme. Through these programmes we teach rural children the importance of conservation and strive to instil a passion for the environment creating custodians of these areas
