Personal message

Hi, my name is Chikonjiwe Malango. I am an aspiring LLB law student at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, who is in need of your help. 
 
Since Grade 8, I had always set my sights on becoming a lawyer. With that goal in mind, I worked as hard as I could throughout my high school career to push myself to where I am now.
 
In 2020, the COVID pandemic had a severe toll on my family. Its impact resulted in financial issues that have persisted until this current year. I was fortunate enough to register and settle my debt for first year due to the assistance of my parents' savings. Having three siblings, each with their respective academic pursuits, the difficulty to settle my fees became more heightened. That became evident in my second year in 2023. 
 
Despite the stress and detriment acquired from my personal situation, I ensured that I made the most of my university experience as much as possible. I successfully achieved a place in the top 15% of students in my course in first year and participated in my first moot court competition, of which I progressed to the oral rounds. Within second year,  I continued my participation within the moot Court society and was fortunate enough to make it into the Law students Council, the IS Sub-council 23/24 and became a writing centre consultant for 2024.
 
Going into third year, I am thrilled to continue my endeavours and work within the councils that I am now a part of but I will only be able to do so if I am able to register.
 
To register for the academic year, I am required to settle my debt. Since first year, I have been searching for a bursary/scholarship to aid me with my fees but I have been unable to find one despite my end of year results. I am still dealing with the same issue.
 
I am very passionate about my course and completing it would mean the world to me. I am in dire need of your help to settle my debt, register and continue my studies so I may fulfill my dream.
