My name is Charmain Horn age 46, from Swakopmund, Namibia.
I want to raise funds for myself, a stage 4 Stomach Cancer fighter.
I need to raise funds to assist my husband with financial obligations, especially medical expenses. I was first diagnosed with stomach cancer almost 13 years ago. My son was 2 years old and my twin girls 1 year old. I was lucky and fought with everthing in me. I was in remission for almost 10 years, and then suddenly it came back with a bang...2 years down the line, chemo for almost 2 years, we have now reached a point where I will never be cured. I have stage 4 stomach cancer, but its called Krukenburg Tumor. Had a hysterectomy about 6 months ago, went through another 6 months of chemo and herception injections. Nothing helped, cancer is still there and even more so.
I am a very positive person, but this is now taking it's toll on me, I do not feel well most of the time, and with 3 teenagers I have to get up in die morning, I have to be there for them, but I am getting sicker and sicker.
We were able to pay for a lot of things, but now not so much, as with life things change and our financial income changed.
I do however try and stay positive! I am such a blessed lady actually, I have a wonderful husband, and 3 beautiful children, and I do believe that God has a plan with me... I'm Afrikaans speaking, you can follow my facebook page: My kanker reis! Herhaal
