Hello everyone,

Let me introduce you to my wonderful son, Chad.

Chad came into this world with bilateral congenital cataracts, a condition that has posed challenges right from the start. At just 8 months old, he underwent his first surgery, but unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse since then.

Today, Chad is facing complete blindness, having lost all sight due to complications including retinal detachment in both eyes. Despite enduring numerous surgeries, he only retains a mere 2% of vision in his right eye, while his left eye remains entirely blind.

As parents, our hearts ache to see Chad struggle, especially knowing he's just 10 years old this year. He deserves the chance to experience the world fully and independently, to live a life unhindered by his condition.

We're reaching out to you, our community, for support in seeking further assistance. We're determined to explore every avenue and are seeking consultation with specialists and ophthalmologists who may offer new solutions for Chad's condition.
