Personal message
My name is Carina and I am in recovery from an eating disorder and addiction for over 11 years. It is a miracle that today I have a life beyond my wildest dreams.
Since coming into recovery, I have become more and more committed to helping people on a similar path. I am a counsellor and work with people suffering from eating disorders, mental illness, addiction and alcoholism on a daily basis. I wholeheartedly believe that recovery is possible and my hope is that no-one needs die from this disease.
I will be cycling the Cape Town Cycle Tour in order to raise funds for people suffering from addiction to get sponsored treatment.
