Personal message

The Cane Riders will be undertaking the Karoo to Coast 100km Mountain bike challenge on 22 September 2019, in support of "Rainbows and Smiles", an organisation that provides support to families of children suffering from cancer. The reason we chose this charity is that cancer has touched all of us in some way - whether it is someone in our families, friends or colleagues.   

There was a little boy, known as #Braveheart, who passed away from a rare form of cancer.  This little man touched my heart each time I saw him, towards the end of his short life.  Many of us shared this part of his life - and were devastated when we heard that his struggle was over. His mother joined Rainbows and Smiles to honour his memory, and provide support to the families suffering the same tragedy that their family went through.                                                                                                                 We ask that you will join us in supporting this iniative, so that "Rainbows and Smiles" can continue to deliver on their mission to assist and support families experiencing this tragedy.
