Byron, the very reliable, pleasant car guard located in the paved parking area on the Mariners Wharf side of Hout Bay Beach, who has prevented many car break-ins whilst paddlers and dog walkers enjoy their time on the beach or in the ocean, sadly lost his wife to cancer a few days ago and is absolutely devastated. He has a daughter aged 14yrs and a son aged 10yrs, who he now needs to solely provide for. We are appealing to the paddling/dog walking community to assist Byron financially during this very sad and difficult time. A little contribution from each of you, will really go a long way to help Byron and his children get by. Thank you so much.
