HELP US BUILD "PAWS HAVEN" - a HOME FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

PAWS R US (SA) is a Pro-Life, Animal Shelter and a registered Non-Profit Company, based in Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. We have been saving and blessing lives since 2011 in a tough animal welfare sector in which government funding does not exist, corporate funding is exceptionally scarce and individual donors literally help shelters stay afloat. Against that context, PAWS R US (SA) houses 220 abandoned and unwanted dogs, offering them safe haven and the opportunity to find new homes and new blessings. Having moved into an open-run site in November 2017, the PAWS R US (SA) team are striving to build “PAWS HAVEN”. However, as the winter cold enters the country, and the temperatures at night plummet, many of the existing dog-houses on the site are broken and dilapidated. In other instances, despite the availability of doggy igloos, the shelter provided is less than ideal for wrapping up warm on the icy nights. As such, the PAWS R US (SA) team turn to crowdfunding in a bid to RAISE FUNDS TO IMPROVE THE DOGGY-HOUSES ON SITE and IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE of the furry orphans in need.

NOTE: We will be looking at bigger houses that will allow groups of 2 more dogs to live and sleep together. After all, we all need to hang out with our friends to keep the sunshine in our hearts, and also, stay warm at night! As such, we will be looking at doggy-houses that range in size from 1.5 x 2.5 metres through to 3 x 4 metres. EVERY SINGLE CENT CONTRIBUTED WILL GO TOWARDS THIS MISSION!

P.S. Should you wish to donate a sum larger than R2000 towards this campaign in specific memory of a furry friend who has passed away in your life, and you would like the PAWS R US (SA) team to put up a commemorative plaque in your name, we can arrange that! A fitting tribute.
