Personal message

I am a sports maniac, wanting to do everything & anything. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a Rare Disease & was told that I wouldn’t be able to do all the things that I love, let alone walk. 

With the help of a foundation like the Smile Foundation I was able to get the support I needed to get onto the correct path to be able to do the things I love again. I now cycle challenging events like the Momentum Health Cape Pioneer Trek presented by Biogen in aid of creating further awareness for those that are in need of support from the Smile Foundation. 

I may not be competing to win anymore but I am competing for a far greater cause to help raise money for children who can’t afford the operation needed to help them Smile.
