MY BIGGEST FEAR!?
When I'm asked what my biggest fear is?
I always say it’s Snakes.
To be honest my biggest fear is a fear that I’ve been walking around with for the past +/- 10years.
It's a fear that I wake up with every morning and go to bed with every night.
It’s not the normal type of fear that only triggers you when you near/ close to what scares you.
It’s the type of fear that is constantly there, constantly worrying me, constantly has me praying whenever I think about it.
This fear is getting more scarier as the years are passing by.
" MY BIGGEST IS FEAR LOSING MY SISTER TO DRUG ADDICTION".
My sister Shade Vicky King (27) has been addicted to drugs to for the past +/_ 10 years.
As her baby sister it hurts seeing how her health is deteriorating and the painful things, she's going through on the streets to feed her addiction.
I had a long deep conversation with my sister about a month ago and she admitted that she needs help/Intervention with her addiction.
She gave her consent to publicly ask for financial assistance so we can get her booked into the Rehabilitation Centre God has placed on my heart.
My sister has a precious daughter who is turning 6 in a few days, and it breaks my heart that she never got to experience the sister I know, the one I grew up with or even as a mother figure.
Many of our peers, Close friends, Cousins, brothers, and sisters have lost the battle against their addiction the last 4 years.
Many kids are robbed of a parent due to these drugs and how it destroyed their families.
Many parents often end up questioning their parenting skills, whether they have done something wrong along the way of raising their kids. But to be honest drugs doesn’t look at colour, financial status, which school you went to, what church you were brought up in or how many qualifications you have on your name. Drug Addiction is a Devil that can knock on any family's door.
Drugs is tearing family’s apart one “Fix" at a time.
Some addicts sadly end up dying before they could meet sobriety.
Nobody really talks about how families of drugs addicts are being affected.
It hurts, its hurts so much, especially when people call them ugly names, look down on them, and take advantage of them.
We as a family refuse to allow the drugs to rob us of sister, My mother of her daughter and my niece of a mother.
I have done research and contacted a rehabilitation centre based in JHB.The Rehabilitation Centre God has placed on my heart unfortunately Runs solely on the funds they make with admissions.
Today we put our pride aside and humble ourselves by seeking financial assistance to help our sister reach sobriety before death.
We don’t want to lose our dear sister.
We are tired of constantly Fearing the death knock at our door that would ask us to come identify a body to or that will tell she is laying somewhere or that she didn't wake up.
"WE NEED HELP, SHE NEEDS HELP, WE NEED YOU TO HELP US HELP HER."
Help us Save our sister, my mother’s daughter, my Niece’s mother from the chains of drugs addiction by donating any amount of money you can give to help us reach R30 000 to get her booked into the Rehabilitation Centre. We know God hasn’t forgotten about us as a family.God's Merciful and Gracious hand has been over our sister for the past +/_10 years. We know He will continue to show Mercy unto her and that one day she will Win souls for him again through her Angelic healing voice and that her story will become a testimony to many other Drug addicts.
Thank you in Advance
May God Bless your good heart.
