Personal message
For my 31st birthday t, I would like to raise R3,100 for HospiceWits. They are an organization that provides palliative/end-of-life care for terminally ill persons. The service they provide is exemplary and I for one applaud them for affording dignity, comfort and peace to the patients, and their families.
An excerpt from their website:
"Any person and their family members who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness (defined as having a prognosis of 6 months or less if the disease or illness runs its normal course), is welcome. No one is turned away, regardless of their age, race, gender, religion or financial circumstances."
Times are tough, and this has been felt acutely by NPOs and charities. Please help me to help this wonderful institution.

We welcome all who needs us, no one is turned away. We serve the greater Johannesburg area, North, South and Soweto, providing access to care that hospitals and clinics do not have the expertise and capacity to provide.
Our unwavering dedication to providing compassionate care for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses has remained the cornerstone of our mission. Yet, we acknowledge that this journey is not one we can undertake alone.
