Our daughter Bilqees Salie is an aspiring footballer with lots of potential.
Bilqees has been playing football since the age of 7years old and she is currently 15years old, her passion for the sport has grown ever since. She has been working hard every step of the way and with lots of passion for the sport, her hard work has paid off this far but she is not yet done.
She played for Hellenic football club, she later on then joined the Sasol league playing for uct ladies team at age 14. In the same year she was selected as the captain of the western province under 17team at the age of 14years old that has represented the western province at the winter games in Benoni. She has from there been selected to join the safa football academy in Pretoria at HPC situated at Tuks university , she now also attends Tuks sports high school. She has received her first national cap for the under 17 SA girls team that has been to morrocco in October 2023.
Her dream of becoming a professional footballer has turned into a goal and one that she is working towards daily.
She has now been afforded the opportunity to join a trip to Spain (Madrid) on the 24th of April 2024 to showcase her talent and skill but this comes at a cost hence the campaign on this platform.
This is a stepping stone and could open doors for her future in professional football.
All funds raised will go towards her trip and essentials that she will need for the travel.
