Bianca Fourie, 11 years old has a dream. She wants to take her whole family of 6 to Disney world. 

Reach for a dream approved this dream for up to 3 people. The funds for the other 3 needs to be generated.

All funds raised will be paid directly to the Reach for a Dream foundation in order to make logistics easier.

Bianca is recovering from Severe Aplastic Anaemia, a condition where her bone marrow stops producing blood products. 

She was diagnosed in November 2018 following a period of extensive nose bleeds. Bianca almost died on 14 November and was rushed to hospital where she was put into isolation immediately, since her immune system was not working due to the fact that she had virtually no white blood cells.

Blood tests was done on the whole family to find a suitable bone marrow donor. The chance that a sibling could be a possible match is 25%. It was established that her older sister, Theandi, was a 100% match. She was discharged from hospital on 27 December after initially spending time in isolation since 14 November. She was booked in and out of hospital various times up to 14 February where she had an operation booked to insert the Hickman line. The operation was done eventually on Monday 18 February and she was transferred to Groote Schuur on 19 February. She received Chemotherapy to kill off any remaining bone marrow to create a clean slate for her sister's bone marrow. She received the life giving bone marrow on 27 February, That is when her new life started. 

Reach for a dream visited her at Groote Schuur Hospital and established her dream. Bianca performed at their Gala Function on 31 October singing her 'anthem' as they so aptly put it.
