Personal message

We're exceptionally lucky to be alive and I am grateful for the good family I was born into. I grew up with ample opportunity, allowing me to chase down any avenue that took my fancy, a privilege that many don't enjoy.

In addition, I am lucky enough to exist on a planet with endless beauty, lucky enough to run races such as UTCT in an environment that sustains important ecology. I believe it's important that we look after our surroundings and our environment. This can be done with small gestures in everyday life and the more we do on a more consistent basis, the greater the compound effect of these actions will be.

Donations from this platform go towards sustaining the conservation efforts within the Table Mountain National Park but they also go towards lifting up others who were not as fortunate as I was growing up.

So I'd like to use the platform and the privilege I have to help those around me. Hitting a certain goal on this platform affords me the opportunity to earn some of race fee back and anything i get kicked back from the platform I'm going to donate to this very cause.

If this resonates with you please consider donating and spreading the word. Thank you.
