Personal message

I will be participating in the 400km Icon 4 Change 2023 to raise funds for my alma mater, Rahlagane Primary School in Ga-Matlala Lehwelere, Dennilton (Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality, Limpopo Province). The school was built by the local Chief and requires sporting equipments and serious maintenance.

I call upon all affected and interested stakeholders such as former pupils and local businesses to support my cause.

The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation

 We are The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation, A nonprofit subsidiary of The Icons Journey Marathon (Pty) Ltd multi-sporting event.

We are looking to raise enough funds to continue the good work we started in 2018 through our CSI initiative named Promote Sport For Social Change. We are promoting the sport to uplift our underprivileged rural and township communities. Over the years special focus has been on the schools in these communities.
Funds raised from this 400km Iconic Challenge will benefit over 4000 of these school kids in school shoes, sanitary towels, sports kits Nationally.

The event takes place in Eastern Cape in three district municipalities namely (Amathole, Chris Hani, and O.R Tambo Districts). Funds raised will however benefit schools Nationally.

Since 2018 we have been able to raise funds that have benefited over 500 village and township school pupils. With this initiative, we will amplify this number.
