Personal message

I have always loved helping little children. When I was young my mother would make me pack my old clothes and donate them to a close-by orphanage and I would get a chance to hold the babies in that orphanage. The orphanage I have chosen to help is close to my area which is easy for me to go deliver and help them.

I would love to donate beanies to the kids there. It's important for me for the funds to be raised because this winter it would be nice to have something that covers the head and ears. The beanies also say "journey to exceptionalism" which is fitting for the kids because they are exceptional.

The impact on this is just to help out where needed and keeping the young generation warm in an affordable way.

With the funds raised beanies will be bought to donate to the kids at kids haven in Bryanston. The beanies are thick and very warm. I myself own 2 beanies and I can agree that they do keep my head warm. Colours available are black and red and the writing on the beanies truly speaks to the exceptional kids that will grow into wonderful beings.

The beanies cost R80 and as written in the email Kids haven has about 154 kids who live in the orphanage and R100 who are in the community. You are more than welcome to donate as many beanies as you would like.

Kids Haven

Kids Haven is dedicated to the care and protection of vulnerable children, including those with street connections. We offer residential care to children in need and we have family-focused programs to strengthen families in the community.

The Kids Haven Preschool offers quality ECD to 40 young children from the area, while our family strengthening team works with at least 100 families.

The Kids Haven Centre is home to 160 boys and girls age 5 - 21.

When you leave Kids Haven, we will continue to support you through the AFTER CARE program of care.
