Hi friends and family of Ayrton, better known as Ed. I am Christine Johnson writing on behalf of a group of concerned friends of Ed. He is 33 years old and sought out a Dermatologist for a suspicious mark on his head. This was diagnosed as being cancerous, and further intervention is necessary to thoroughly remove it, and also check for and hopefully exclude spread of the cancer.
The medical aid is refusing to pay for this and insists he did not declare it, although he can chronologically prove he did not know about it beforehand. Another big problem which is of course really a blessing, is the fact that his third child will be arriving in this world in May 2023.
The financial implications are massive, and for this reason we would like to ask for help, as even in a group of people it would be difficult to raise the funds needed ourselves. He has no problem going to a Government hospital, so if we do not reach the target to pay for it to be done in the private sector, the money will still be used to pay for it being done elsewhere.
The account specified belongs to me, for one reason only, and that is, to allow it to be readily available should it be necessary to go to a Government hospital instead. The quotation received does not include the pathology, hence the slightly higher target than the original quote.
Should there be more money than is needed, it will be donated again to another cause in need.
