Good day my name is Ashley Lewis and I am a passionate community member.

I have started my love for radio in 1995 as a volunteer presenter at radio Atlantis. That inspired me to create my own online radio station. Richard and I decided to start our own radio station in the heart of covid. We did this to connect to the world and try to have a voice for those suffering at that time. We operate only on weekends. We as Lockdown radio are currently busy with a short film project "My Choice" centered around a true story of a middle age man who was declared dead and never gave up on life. A truly remarkable story as he takes us through pain and suffering, he went through. Even with an out of body experience he still fights off the demands surrounding him. The message is, never give up God has a plan for everyone. It is all about the choices you make in life.

 This is a family drama for everyone. Our focus point is to create an opportunity to our community to share the love we have in the film industry. The cast and crew are 80% unemployed and they are so willing to join our team as a volunteer. This will be our very first of many films and documentaries. Our hearts bleeds with love for our community and the willingness to help in every step of the way. With this new project, we aim to delve deep into the stories and experience that often go untold.

We need to raise funds to help the unemployed and youth in the community. We really want to created job opportunities  through our films. 

The interest and willingness of the community to be apart of this venture is huge.
