Personal message
I am Asanda Polisa 28 years old from a small township called Makhaza in Khayelitsha.I am looking into furthering my studies. In 2018 I was academically excluded from a higher education institution due to not having means to go and write my major subjects during exams.
From that moment, I felt demotivated, I felt as though my dream had died.
Life had to go on and I started to look for work to survive and I worked in call centre's but because of the toxic environment I was diagnosed with depression and so I took a decision to rather go back go school and pursue what I love which is education.
Unisa is awarding me this opportunity to right my wrongs and be able to support myself.
Unfortunately I am unemployed and cannot be able to contribute towards the registration amount.
