Personal message
Walking 4 Rhinos and Rangers is a project to honour our rangers working selflessly in difficult and dangerous circumstances protecting our rhinos.
I will be pulling a 120kg fibreglass rhino behind me while walking 1 500km from Modimolle to Cape Town. I am hoping to average about 25km per day and hope to reach the V&A Waterfront on the 31st of October 2015.
The aim of this trek is to honour the rangers who work in difficult and dangerous conditions protecting the country’s rhino, and to raise awareness about rhino poaching. On the rhino I am dragging there are 1 215 red dots, one for each of the animals killed in South Africa last year.
To support me on my journey please follow my facebook page or please make a contribution to SanParks Honorary Rangers on this page.
