Personal message
For privacy purposes, I will refer to my friend as Sue.
Sue and I have been friends for the past 25 years. We attended the same primary and high school and have shared almost all our milestones together.
After years of trying for a baby, many tests and even more medical bills and hardships, Sue and her husband learned last year that he has a very low fertility rate and that becoming pregnant in the "traditional" way, would be nearly impossible. The likelihood of a pregnancy also diminishes by the day as his fertility rate drops as time passes.
With the help of Grootte Schuur Hospital and a significant personal loan from the bank, they managed to fund one ICSI treatment but it was not successful.
Due to the time sensitivity of the matter, they need to undergo the next treatment as soon as possible but their funds are sadly depleted. It will take them atleast 12 months to accumulate sufficient funds to undergo a second ICSI treatment but the clock keeps ticking.
I decided to start this fund for them, as I believe its unfair and cruel for money constraints to stand in the way of starting a family of their own. They deserve so much more.
Please help me get them to the next ICSI treatment before time runs out.
