Please help before we loose our house. I have a beautiful family, 2 sons and 2 step daughters. Unfortunately we live in SA and our government has let us down. We bought my late father in laws small 2 bedroom house 2 years ago and at that time we could afford the bond but with the interest rate going up so does our bond. And because we didn't have cash we had to finance a reliable vehicle too. We are now struggling to pay the monthly installments and just looking for someone to help us. We are so much in debt with family always lending money to get us through the month and to top it off my husband is now working short time for the next 2 months having almost half his salary cut. My mother passed away Dec 2021 due to lupus who use to help us out tremendously, my father now also does his best to help where he can. I am so greatful but unfortunately by himself he cannot run my household as well as his. I am trying to apply for my husband to work in the USA on the farms but his lack of experience makes it difficult. That is the only way we are going to survive this at the moment. Our eldest son and daughter just started high school and to be honest we are just not getting though the month without having to lend money for groceries and fuel as our combined salary just covers our house bond, water and electricity, car installment, child maintenance, two clothing accounts and our funeral policy. I try and sell odds and ends to make up extra money for the necessaries, it's so hard to try and give your kids everything they want and need knowing you will struggle over and over if you don't lend money. I am so tied of batteling. Alone our house bond is R5400, water and light is R3000 and car instalment is R3700 Thats excluding our house policy is R445 and our car insurance of R554. School fees of R3300, As a mother I am so depressed that we cannot walk into a shop and just buy what we need but have walk with a list and calculator and have to put things back getting to the till to pay. If we can pay extra money into our house or car our monthly installments will eventually start coming down and we can atleast then buy groceries without having to lend money. Please please help me. All funds raised will go straight into my home loan account or vehicle account. It would mean so much to my family if someone can help us get through this rough patch.
