Personal message

Dear friends,

Warren and I have signed up to ride the 94.7 Cycle Challenge 2014, as part of the Ride4Africa-Israel team.

We are partnering with Innovation:Africa and Deisi, the organization set up by Reverend Meshoe from the ACDP, and will be riding and working together to bring Israeli agricultural technology to a community in Diepsloot. The goal is to create a sustainable source of fresh produce to support the community school feeding scheme, enable the harvesting fresh produce to sell, create jobs and uplift the community.

Israel has so much to offer South Africa in terms of innovative and sustainable solutions for basic necessities such as community-based agriculture. The school will permanently house this sustainable technology, but the benefits will be extended to the surrounding community. We are proud to be riding in support of the positive impact Israel can and does make to underprivileged communities across the globe, and to raise funds for this important project.
