Hi, I’m Andrea from Cologne, Germany.

When I met my husband Alexander I had no idea of motorsport. He already had been a participant in several events. I was highly fascinated and told him that I’d be bored just to be a co-driver or supporter from the sideline.

When I decided to race myself I had no idea of what I was getting into. But ever since the first time I sat behind the steering wheel of a racing car I got hooked and I have never regretted it.

COVID regulations and the duty to quarantine in 2021 have not been compatible with my job in the health care business. With a heavy heart, I decided not to race. But this year I’m back, much happier than ever before

The funds I hope to raise will assist Knysna Sedgefield Hospice to offer:

1. Palliative, home-based care for those individuals (adults and children) suffering from a life-threatening illness.
2. To support the right to decent and dignified end-of-life care.
3. To provide the best possible holistic palliative care and support.

 To support a multi-disciplinary team that works together to give hope, dignity, and relief to every patient, as well as bereavement, and other support to their children and families.
