Personal message

Hi

On 6th March 2016 I’ll be cycling 109kms in the fantastic Afrika Tikkun charity cycling team.

Afrika Tikkun is an international development NGO based in South Africa and I’ve pledged to raise R3000 as part of my cycle challenge to sponsor a child into ECD education for a year.

Afrika Tikkun works with communities in Cape Town and Johannesburg to help create a prosperous future for some of our most vulnerable children. Currently, Afrika Tikkun is helping more than 17000 children change their lives. You can help me change more.

It costs just R3000 for me to sponsor one child into Afrika Tikkun’s state of the art education facility in Mfuleni, just outside Cape Town. Giving the gift of education means that children are more likely to turn into productive citizens and gives their mothers the chance to start work. Afrika Tikkun has plenty of success stories available on their website www.afrikatikkun.org

Please find my profile on www.backabuddy.co.za and support my ride for change

All South African donors are eligible for a Section 18a tax certificate.

Thanks for sponsoring me. Time to get pedaling and changing lives!

Best,

Shaul Freedman

Charity Default Logo

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
