Welcome, and thank you for your interest in this year's Tour de Tuli Mt. Bike Fundraiser/Adventure! This year's ride will be my third as official photographer, and I hope to, with your help, raise some funds for this great charity known as Children in the Wilderness. Please donate what you can and remember that the amount you are entering will be in South African Rand. Each Rand equals approx. 15 cents, so if you want to donate $100 you'll want to enter 675 Rand. Your money will make it possible for Children in the Wilderness to close down various safari camps for six days at a time during which children from the rual villages are brought to the camps and taught various life skills and conservation techniques with the goal of raising a generation of children who will grow into citizens capable and excited to protect and sustain Africa's wildlife and natural resources.

This year's ride will include 370 riders from approx. 20 countries, and promises to be the most challenging Tour yet. Covering 200 miles in 4 days (much of it through thorny bushes and deep sand!), We will be starting in Botswana, traveling into Zimbabwe and finishing in South Africa. My goal as official photographer will be to document the riders while completing the route on my own Mt. bike.  Upon returning I will be posting images of Africa and the Tour for you to view, and anyone donating 675 R or more will be able to pick their favorite image for a free 8x10.  Also, on October 7th you will be invited to an Africa Night open house event at Turville Photography during which we will offer samplings of South African Food, refreshments and images. Mark it on your calendar, we hope you can join us!
