Personal message

Hi all,

I am writing to you to ask for assistance in raising funds for my father-in-law and mother-in-law. He was once a strong man and helped others out, but now is suffering from dementia and has problems getting around.

This situation has also put a great burden on my mother-in-law as she needs special care for him at night, especially and a wheelchair to get him around. The funds raised would go towards a wheelchair, as the cost of a good one is almost R7k, and the night carer for the year would cost R176,400.

They are both pensioners and not by the means, and with the cost of living as it is, life in general is getting way more expensive just to survive. Now add this unforeseen illness, and it has just made it worse. These are the two main needs, not to mention the other challenges faced by my mother-in-law.

We feel if we could raise this money and she had the help of a professional, it would mean the world to her and make their remaining years together so much more enjoyable. Currently, she has aged 10 years and is feeling so unsure of what tomorrow holds. The family wishes we could do more ourselves, but as stated, we are all struggling, and we need help. So if there is any chance we could get help, every bit would help.

Thank you and God Bless.

I urgently seek assistance for my father-in-law, battling dementia and mobility issues. My mother-in-law, already burdened, requires funds for a wheelchair (R7k) and a year of night care (R176,400). As pensioners, their financial strain is worsened by living costs. Your support can significantly improve their quality of life. Any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness.
