Acceleration Global has partnered with Afrika Tikkun over the last 6 years in various ways, from raising funds by participating in groups or individual activities to holiday drives.

As I strongly believe in education to ensure the country has a solid foundation for future economic success and growth, this is an organization near and dear to me.

This year I will be representing Acceleration New York by running the Staten Island Half Marathon on October 8th. As many of you know I am personally coming out of a rough year so why not work towards a better future by doing something for the kids.

Please support me by donating anything big or small to this cause. In addition, words of encouragement as I train will also be appreciated.

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
