Acceleration has teamed up with Afrika Tikkun to support those who help make a difference to the lives of others living in less fortunate communities in Cape Town.
This year Acceleration would like to assist Nomvuselelo.
Nomvuselelo is a single mom who needs your support with her vegetable garden which she runs at the community Centre of Excellence. Afrika Tikkun operates on a holistic development model aimed at community self-empowerment. One of the core focus areas of their model is Nutrition and Food Security. Nomvu’s garden provides the Centre of Excellence with produce for their food kitchen which feeds numerous children visiting this centre after school.
With your support, Acceleration would like to provide Nomvu with the gardening equipment she so desperately needs.

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
