Personal message

My name is Bianca and I'm a lecturer at a private university. Throughout my 10 years of teaching I have come across many young adults who have suffered (in silence) with various mental health issues. This has led to many issues and sadness over the years but having met Cassey from SADAG, I have never looked back.

They have proved influential in helping my students understand the complexities of mental health and how it is important to be aware and care for our mental health much like we would care for something like diabetes.

They are great at breaking the stigma associated with mental illness and have helped me save many of my students from unnecessary pain, and have helped me actually save one from potential death. I cannot explain how important mental health is and SADAG is influential in spreading this information to all South Africans so that we can all grow and help each other together.

Please help me give back to SADAG so that we can break the stigma associated with mental illness and work together to make happier, healthier SA citizens.
