Personal message

Drunk/drink driving causes incredible harm to individuals and to South African society. SADD is an NGO that fights against this crime while highlighting the need for more testing, greater penalties, and justice for victims.

The funds generated from this project will go towards assisting victims of road crashes to ensure that they are given the best support throughout these challenging times. For Mandela Day we visit victims in hospital who have little to no financial or family support. We put together care packages for them to help make their time in hospital slightly more bearable. Your donation will go a long way to aiding these victims towards a path of recovery and giving them the message that they have support. 

SADD provide specialized education on units of alcohol, elimination rates of alcohol, and DUI (driving under the influence). We are general road safety experts and work on projects specific to this sector, especially involving children's road safety issues.

On the 3rd Sunday of November we hold an event called "World Day Of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims", which is for all victims of road crashes.

South Africans Against Drunk Driving (SADD) are a specialised Road Safety and Drink Driving organization. We provide education to schools and tertiary institutions throughout SA. We support the victims of drink driving and provide grief literature and other assistance. We act as a media resource centre.
