Attempting to summit Mt Kilimanjaro to raise awareness for the countless animals that are neglected, abused or unwanted.

The SPCA organisation is a rare gem in South Africa - it cares for ALL animals, not just dogs and cats.

Every SPCA takes in a huge amount of neglected, abused and unwanted animals on an annual basis and is one of the only organisations that will not, ever, refuse to take in an animal. There are inspectors that are acknowledged as Police Officers in terms of the Animals Protection Act who often risk their lives (in South Africa's crime climate) and their hearts on a daily basis for animals.

It is an organisation worth supporting!

Being a non-prfit organisation, it relies on the generosity of members of the public to keep their doors open, their facilities in good condition and of course their dedicated staff members who work tirelessly in the prevention of cruelty to animals and intervention when necessary.

If there is any way that you can contribute anything in aid of such an important movement in the name of my attempt to peak4paws and summit kili, it would truly be appreciated!

Please support this worthy cause!

The Sandton SPCA prevents cruelty, alleviates the suffering of animals and promotes kindness as set out in the Five Freedoms.
  1. Freedom from hunger and thirst
  2. Freedom from pain, injury and disease
  3. Freedom from distress
  4. Freedom from discomfort
  5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being
Animal abuse and neglect is something that can only be countered through education, pet care training and youth enrichment at a grass roots level.  Our Inspectorate and Education team work tirelessly to promote positive attitudes such as compassion, empathy and respect for all life through education and outreach programmes.
